Wrote this in 2020, seems pretty relevant now. To all those affected by the Los Angeles fires, my heart goes out to you, stay safe.

“The sky has turned a vague shade of George Miller Mad Max, as fires rage up and down the state. People stay inside, but the ones who are out don face masks to protect themselves and others from a dangerous virus causing a worldwide pandemic. The mask is doing double duty, keeping some of the ash out of the lungs. Los Angeles is burning.

The leader of the free world doesn’t believe the world is on fire. Police are shooting innocent black people. The military is stepping in. The right to peacefully gather is being shattered in slow motion. White supremacy is stretching its arms to embrace the nation. 

It’s the end of the world, not with a bang, but with a quiet seat at home as I’m waiting for it all to end in three different colors.”
